Ingenta (formerly Journals Online)
Index, tables of contents, some full-text (1988-)  
A commercial database that has broad coverage of academic disciplines in over 20,000 serials.  You can freely search across the entire database and a limited number of full text titles are available free of charge UTas staff and students.

International Index to Music Periodicals (IIMP)
Index and abstracts with some full text
Coverage varies title by title but covers the complete runs of 29 titles from 1874 onwards.

International Medieval Bibliography
Index
A bibliography of the European Middle Ages (c.450-1500), which has been published since 1968.

Lexis
Lexis.Com is a full text database covering a wide range of legal and business information sources including case law, legislation, journals, newsletters, newspapers and company reports.  Lexis.com covers information sources from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and other European countries.


Medline
The ProQuest Medline gateway gives additional functionality from that of the PubMed version. Medline is maintained by the National Library of Medicine in the USA. It is the largest index of medical and health journals in the world. However, it does not index all Australian medical and health journals. Try AMI (Australasian Medical Index) for those it leaves out.

Medline via PubMed
Index with some abstracts, 1966-
PubMed is the freely available public Web access interface for the Medline database. Access includes direct linking to full text for e-journals held by UTAS. Change display to 'Abstract" to see UTAS full-text journal icon.
