New Requesting System

DOCUMENT DELIVERY WEB REQUEST FORM HAS CHANGED

  • The web requesting interface is called ZPortal. You will sign in using your Staff/ Student ID number, and your current Document Delivery PIN as the password.
  • New clients must register using an online Registration form available on the Document Delivery web pages. A password will be sent by email within about 24 hours of registration.
  • You can change your password and other client details through the link ‘Account Details’ under the heading ‘My account’.
  • (a) The requesting system allows you to do your own searching, and information returned will be entered into the Request Form automatically once you click on "Get it’. There is now only one (1) Request Form.
  • (b) For example, you could do a search for a book title, or a journal title (NOT a Journal article title) before you place a request. Then click on ‘Get it’ and fill in the chapter or journal article title, volume number, page numbers, etc.
  • There is the option of a blank Request Form under the link called ‘Create Request’.
  • The new requesting system will immediately assign an ID number once you have submitted your request. You no longer have to wait for an email confirmation.
  • You will be able to check the ‘status’ of your requests in ZPortal under the ‘My Requests’ link. The status messages will change as your requests are processed.
