  • AIATSIS. Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies
  • Australian Music Centre is a national organisation which serves to foster Australian composition by working with, and on behalf of, Australian composers and creative musicians to advance the dissemination of their work. It makes available information, music resources and publications
  • Australian Music Web Site. A resource site, particularly bands, but also festivals,
    equipment retailers, studios, subject sites (jazz, metal, folk) & reference sources.
  • MusicAustralia is an online service developed by the National Library of Australia and the National Film and Sound Archive (a division of the Australian Film Commission) and other cultural institutions across the nation.. You can find, access and navigate a rich store of information on Australian music, musicians, organisations and services, all from a single access point. You can find music scores, sound recordings, websites and a range of other music-related material held by a large number of Australia's cultural institutions or described by specialist music services. MusicAustralia covers both heritage and contemporary music, and includes all formats, styles and genres.
  • NFRAM. The National Networked Facility for Research in Australian Music.

  • The Piano Page. Piano technicians Guild. Includes technical & industry information, plus links to music resources.

Music Scores

  • International Music Score Library Project: a virtual library containing all public domain musical scores, as well as scores from composers who are willing to share their music with the world without charge.
  • Mutopia  This volunteer project has typeset editions of copyright free scores and is available for download.    Browse the collection by composer, instrument, or style. 
  • Musicnotes.  A large variety of music books and digital sheet music which cover most instruments.
