When the requested Item is available for pickup, you will be notified by e-mail. Requested items will held at the pickup location for 7 days (normal loan items) or for 1 day (short-term loan items). For registered Flexible Library Services borrowers, requested items are posted to their delivery address.
Items that are NOT available for loan include items located in the Cradle Coast campus, items on Reserve, Reference items and theses. You can request a photocopied section from a Reserve or Reference item (within copyright conditions) by using the Inter-Campus Request for a Journal Article or Book Chapter form.
Selected high demand journal articles and book chapter from reading
lists are available from eReserve.
To request a journal article or book chapter, use the Inter-Campus Request for a Journal Article or Book Chapter form. Download your own copy of the form (PDF file, view with free Acrobat Reader software. Help with Acrobat Reader and PDF files.) or fill in a paper form, available from the Information Desk in all libraries and at the Cradle Coast Campus.
Find journal title or book chapter title on the Library catalogue and complete the form. You may bring or sent the form to your pick up library or fax the form to the holding library. The holding library will send the photocopy back to the location ticked on your form or attach the article to an email sent to your University of Tasmania e-mail account. Registered Flexible Library Services borrowers may nominate a pick up library or provide delivery details.
Staff and postgraduate students can use our Document
Delivery service to request items the University of Tasmania
Library does not hold.
