New library system has enhanced functionality
In November UTAS Library is implementing a new Library Management System. Implementation of a new LMS has given us the opportunity to review some of the user functions and our borrowing rules.
The new system will make it possible to track your borrowing history, once you opt in. The new LMS also enables you to recall a book yourself that someone else has out on loan.
The new borrowing rules aim to make more library resources available for longer, with borrowing quotas and durations extended for most borrowers.
