Abstract
Workers with a well-developed sense of appropriate humour are likely to have higher scores in PsyCap considerations (Hope, Efficacy, Resilience and Optimism); will record higher job satisfaction scores; lower absenteeism rates and are more likely to be committed to the The aim of the study is to determine whether a workplace in which employees are encouraged to 'take their job seriously but take themselves lightly', is measurably 'better'in terms of performance and productivity.
