Laura completed her PhD in Organisational Change in 2006 and has taught in management courses at three Australian universities since 1997. Since completing her PhD she has also worked as a Human Resource Consultant and Manager of Human Resource Development in the public sector. Laura is currently the manager of Organisation Diagnostic Services providing consultancy to Tasmanian small to medium enterprises in the areas of organisational change and climate.
Laura has several teaching degrees and following early career teaching in the primary and secondary sectors in Queensland began teaching in the tertiary sector in 1997. She has extensive experience teaching in the areas of Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Business Communication and Introduction to Management in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Laura’s research interests focus on change management, organisational justice, communication and general human resource management issues. She is particularly interested in exploring the factors that increase employee support for organisational change and reduce resistance to change.
