Abstract
The benefits of positive psychological capital (PsyCap) in contemporary organisational settings have been consistently demonstrated in an emerging, yet growing body of research. However, to date this body of research has almost exclusively focused on investigating PsyCap at the individual level, with very little attention given to measuring and examining collective PsyCap. Therefore, this research project aims to extend the extant knowledge by examining PsyCap at the team-level across a variety of industries and organisational settings. This study aims to explore the relationship between team level PsyCap and various individual, team and organizational-level outcome measures. The study will also investigate possible team characteristics which predict the level and strength of team PsyCap.
