The Bachelof Business Administration (Hospitality Management) has been designed to produce future leaders for the Hospitality industry. In order to cope with the growth and increasing complexity of industries such as hospitality and tourism, there is a strong expectation that those in management positions will have a tertiary qualification for which the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality Management) is the perfect answer.
The degree provides students with the broadest possible career options by combining essential business knowledge and expertise – encompassing areas such as accounting and finance, marketing, economics, human resources, international business and management – with specialised hospitality studies. Students will develop practical and specific workplace skills as well as a sound understanding of hotel management processes and strategies that are required for best practice management in hospitality enterprises.
Opportunities for graduates with management and hospitality skills are excellent, and employment within the sphere of tourism and hospitality is extensive. As a graduate of this degree you will have the knowledge and expertise to develop a career anywhere in the world in a wide variety of areas. A few of the many possibilities include:
