- The Health Science mathematics modules on the website Mathematics Pathways are offered as open education resources (OER) and are free to all users
To Get Started:
You can click on any of the modules above and start the lessons or click on the topics on the menu to the left.
Once you are in the modules,
- Take the pre-test (this is optional) but will give you an idea of your knowledge on the topic. If you score an 80% or better, then you can either move to the next module or if you wish work through the modules and review the topic.
- Work your way through the tabs and lessons below them. Each tab will have a topic within the module(the large tabs), lessons (1, 1.1, 2 etc) and practice questions (Q1, Q2 etc.).
- Once you have worked through the module, take the online Quiz at the end to check your understanding of the topic.
- Please enter your full name, email address so your Quiz results can be sent to you. The personal information you provide (name, email etc) will not be made public and your personal details are only to send your results to you. You will also be asked to provide the educational institution you are attending (if applicable), this information will not be connected with your personal details.
- To pass the quiz, you will need to get a mark of 80%. Feedback will be provided for both correct and incorrect answers. you are able to re-take the quiz if needed.
- It is recommended that if you answer questions on the quiz incorrectly, then you return to that section of the module and review those topics.
- After passing the quiz, proceed to the next module.
- Fill you the research survey at the end of each module.
