The MEU hosts an annual MBBS Curriculum Forum where all academic, clinical and professional staff associated with the School are invited to attend. The Forum typically has a specific theme, showcases achievements and outlines plans for the coming year. An interstate medical educator is invited as a critical friend to encourage sharing and debate.
The Master in Health (Medical Education) and GCULTHP are offered by the Schools of Medicine and Education to advance scholarly approaches to teaching and learning across the School and its range of teaching sites. In 2011, there will be at least three cohorts of course participants across the state - in the Rural Clinical School, Launceston Clinical School, and Medical Sciences, in Hobart. Teaching will be offered in regular seminar formats, or block teaching formats subject to negotiation with participants.
