The School of Medicine has an excellent reputation for study coupled with world-class research. The School is based in Hobart’s Medical Science Precinct, with Clinical Schools associated with the Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital, and in campuses throughout Tasmania and in Sydney.
The School offers undergraduate degrees in Medicine (MBBS), Paramedic Practice and Biotechnology and Medical Research. Research Honours programs can lead to exciting research careers. Our coursework postgraduate courses build the capacity of health professionals in areas of Clinical Supervision, Health Service Management and Public Health.
Internationalisation and Elective Program
The School of Medicine Internationalisation and Elective (SMILE) Program ensures that the School forms an integral part of the global community.
