This practical, interactive workshop will offer participants the opportunity to review the anatomy of the lower limb and spine and learn how to perform a spinal ultrasound scan. These objectives will be achieved through performing hands-on inspection of skeletons and dissected embalmed cadavers, and scanning live models. Dissected cadavers, prosected specimens, skeletons, and anatomical models will be utilised to facilitate review of the bone, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Ultrasound facilitators using state-of-the –art ultrasound machines will be onsite to enable participants to relate ultrasonic images to anatomical structures.
$350 GST inclusive
Practical hands-on workshops: Category 3/Level 2: 3 credits per hour.
