This practical workshop has been designed for GPs and RMOs wishing to further develop their skills in advanced skin lesion removal and wound debridement/repair.

Participants will be offered the unique opportunity to practise operative techniques using Fresh Frozen Human Cadavers at practical skill stations with guidance from Surgeons and Senior Registrars from the RHH Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Workshop Content

  • Lesion Biopsy
  • Management of Haemostasis/ Diathermy
  • Full and Split Thickness Skin Grafting
  • Advancement, Rotational and Transpositional Flaps
  • Wound Debridement and Repair
  • Post Operative Wound Management

Cost

ACRRM and RACGP (category two) QI&CPD Points will be offered.
