Sharon May's change management strategy gains overseas attention
Master of Clinical Supervision and Clinical Leadership student Sharon May's project work was presented at a conference in Paris in April.
More than 3000 people attended the 2012 International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare.
Most healthcare facilities struggle to change routine work practices, and root cause analysis only improves patient safety if the necessary changes it reveals are made.
Sharon developed a simple system that produced dramatic improvements in the timely implementation of necessary changes.
