Assoc Prof Vial is responsible for teaching programs and assessment at the Hobart Clinical School, which provides the last two years of the MBBS program for students studying in Hobart.

• Unit coordinator for the fifth year MBBS units CAM535 and CAM536
• Discipline coordinator for Medicine clinical attachments in years 4 and 5
• Member of School of Medicine Executive Committee
• Member Year 4/5 Statewide Curriculum Committee
• University representative on RHH Medical Executive Committee

• Coordination CAM535/536
• Case Based Teaching in years 4 and 5
• Preparation for internship in year 5 through simulation and tutorial teaching
• Coordination and tutorial teaching relating to Clinical Pharmacology in year 4 and Clinical Pharmacology lectures in year 2 and 3
• Development of assessment items in units taught
• Curriculum development in years 4 and 5
