General Responsibilities

• Coordination and provision of laboratory support services for both the Menzies Research Institute Tasmania and the School of Medicine.
• Provision of high-level advice to management on infrastructure requirements, and ensuring that the Precinct operates under best-practice in safety, maintenance, logistics and storage.
• Provision of safety training and advice, and liason with regulatory authorities and University contact officers.
• General oversight of laboratory and general building safety and practices, and oversight of procurement of goods and services.
