Research Interests
Dr Pearson has a strong interest in the interplay between psychosocial factors and chronic disease. She is particularly interested in the relationship of depression with diabetes and the particular pathways that might explain this association. She also has an interest in adverse outcomes associated with depression and people living with diabetes.
