Domestic students can only be offered full fee paying places (there are no Commonwealth Supported Places available for this course).

Enquire into our alternative study pathway available for prospective students to achieve the Public Health qualifications via enrolment in M4L Bachelor of Health (Professional Honours) A Commonwealth fee subsidy allowing reduced HECS Fees or a full HECS Fee Waiver is offered for eligible students.

Employees of the Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services
Via a joint initiative between the UTAS and the DHHS, employees of the Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services are eligible to access a full HECS Fee Waiver to undertake study for the Master of Public Health suite of courses provided that the following criteria are met:
- Prospective students are employed by the Tasmanian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) on a continuing basis (full-time or part-time) or who are on a fixed-term contract of 12 months or more;
- Prospective students will continue to be employed by DHHS whilst undertaking the HECS scholarship units;
- Prospective students are eligible for a Commonwealth supported place under the HECS-HELP system (this applies to most people – refer to eligibility guidelines);
- The study load does not exceed the equivalent of two (2) units per academic year; and
- A DHHS Study Pathway and Manager Approval form is completed and submitted to the DHHS Leadership and Management Development Unit.
Please note that a full HECS Fee Waiver and/or Commonwealth fee subsidy does not include payment of the Student Services Fee. All students are required to pay the Student Services Fee each Semester.
