Medical students from UTAS frequently go to Vanuatu for their elective. The country is beautiful and is only 3 hours flight form Sydney. There are 5 main hospitals in Vanuatu and most take medical students. Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive.
While any student can arrange to undertake their elective in Vanuatu, students from the Rural Clinical School (RCS) have special arrangements which give them greater access certain elective posts in this country.
