MyLO, UTAS's learning management system, is set to overhauled. From Semester 5 (Spring) 2012, all units in the existing 'old' system must be delivered in the 'new' MyLO.
The School of Medicine, in collaboration with staff from the Tasmanian Institute of Learning and Teaching, is offering tailored professional development opportunities for its staff starting in Semester 2.
A full day of MyLO training will be on offer for Hobart/Domain Campus based Faculty of Health Science Staff. The training consists of three components and you can register to attend any or all of them. There will be two 'standard' MyLO workshops at the start and the end of the day: the first on assessment in MyLO and the second on communicating with students using MyLO. Between these will be the MyLO Opportuntity Festival: a chance to find out more about the MyLO tools that interest you. A light lunch will be provided for MyLO training day participants.
