Clinical Academics are Clinicans and other Health Professionals who contribute to the teaching and/or research programs of the School of Medicine.
Voluntary Academics are non-health professionals who contribute to the teaching and/or research programs of the School of Medicine.
Appointment entitles a Clinical or Voluntary academic to a number of benefits including access to the UTAS Library and IT resources for University purposes, and access to any available University discounts.

All applications should be discussed with the Head of School in the first instance.
Applicants should complete the Nomination/Renewal Form (Word 36 KB) and have the Head of School complete the required section of the form. Applicants seeking new or renewal of voluntary positions with a title of Associate Professor or Professor should also complete the Voluntary Assoc Prof/Prof Form (RTF 59 KB). The completed application is to be returned to the Executive Assistant to the Head of School (contact below).
