The Master of Clinical Leadership is designed for people who are working in health fields who are wishing to deepen their understanding of leadership and management and/or the complex issues around healthcare improvement. They may be clinicians, administrators, or health policy professionals.
You will need to allow around 10 to 12 hours per week for your studies. Your health service employer may allow you study time, but as a general rule you will still need to set aside considerable time out of hours for your studies.
You can either study 1 or 2 units per semester. It is not currently possible to study more than 2 units (or a 50% load) in this course.
The course can be completed in a minimum 3 years, and must be completed in a maximum 6 years.
Yes. If at any time life gets busy, or something happens in your life that makes university study difficult, you can apply to take a break in your studies.

Yes. The course is open to all eligible applicants in Australia (irrespective of what Health Service they work for).
Workplace learning projects are projects executed in the workplace that will contribute to your course.

Yes. Passes in subjects or units in other courses (completed or otherwise) in UTAS or another approved tertiary institution (or other approved professional examining body) may be credited towards the degree, subject to approval.
