Finish saxophonist Jari Perkiömäki is a highly respected jazz musician. He successfully combines all levels of musicianship in his career. On stage he is a fine sounding saxman, as a composer he feels mostly home with modern bebop flavour and as an educator and Doctor of Music he leads the Sibelius Academy jazz department in Helsinki, Finland.
His experience, talent and continuous curiosity to discover makes him a true influence in jazz internationally.
