The Derwent Valley Concert Band is one of Australia’s most highly acclaimed, travelled and successful Community Bands.

Winner of the Tasmanian State Championships for 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2009 and 2010. Also winner of Open B Grade Concert Band Australian National Championship in 2000. The band has travelled to Japan, Canada, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark and China.
