Research in musicology may be undertaken in the areas of historical musicology, sociology of music and performance practice. The research involves the investigation of a central research question associated with classical, jazz or contemporary music and is represented in a thesis that constitutes an original contribution to the literature.
Key research interests of staff are British and Australian music of the twentieth century and liturgical music in Australia.
