Lauren Ward, Conservatorium student, receives ABC award
The ABC's Director Technology, Ken Gallacher has awarded the first Tasmanian Women in Broadcast Technology Scholarship in nearly ten years to Lauren Ward, a Community Media Student at the University of Tasmania. Lauren began studying for her Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in 2009, at the University of Wollongong. A growing passion for radio, music and audio, saw Lauren move to Hobart and take audio electives and music technology through the Conservatorium of Music at the University of Tasmania.
