The Project Executive has overarching knowledge and support of the key areas of UTAS and the ability to advise the UTAS Senior Management Team (SMT).
The Project Executive is ultimately accountable for the project and responsible for ensuring the project delivers the business requirements. The Project Executive is the key decision maker in the event of a project issue and must balance the demands of business, the users and the suppliers.
The Project Executive's primary responsibilities include the following:
The Senior Suppliers must have the authority to commit or procure the required supplier resources.
The Implementation Team Chair ensures the requirements of the Project Board are conveyed to the LMS Implementation Team and are carried out on behalf of the Project Board.
The Project Leader is responsible for coordinating the strategic development and implementation of the MyLO 2012 LMS Project and driving institutional change. As a member of the MyLO 2012 LMS Project Board, the Project Leader will provide advice and support and contribute to decision-making processes.
The Senior Project Manager carries out the day-to-day coordination and execution of the project on behalf of the Project Board. The Senior Project Manager primary responsibility is to ensure that the project produces the required outputs within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits. These roles also ensure the balance, consistency and proper relationships throughout the project and reports progress to the Project Board.
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the technical aspects of the project such as customisations and integrations. As well as liaison with software vendors and ITS technical staff.
These stakeholders are drawn from Academic Senate, the Deans, the Associate Deans (Learning and Teaching), and the AMC (to be confirmed).
The stakeholder representatives are responsible for ensuring the Project Board's decisions reflect the needs of UTAS stakeholders.
Project Assurance ensures the project is being managed according to the principles agreed. This role supports the Project Board.
