The MyMedia Service was successfully updated this morning (Friday 13th July). Students and staff will see some changes to the interface, but all previous functionality remains available.
Bookings are now being received for Semester 2, 2012. Please complete the online booking form prior to Friday June 29th in order to be ready for Semester 2 start.
The MyMedia Service now has a regular service outage window every Friday from 8am - 8.30am.This means that access to recordings and administration of recordings will be unavailable during this time.
In 2012 the MyMedia Service offers a new user interface for both staff and students providing easier access to lecture recordings and facilitating more features including bookmarks and discussions. The new interface is commonly referred to as the Unit Portal.
There will be a MyMedia Service outage on Friday 16th December from 10am to 6pm, and intermittent shorter outages over the week 19th December to 23rd December. All services provided by MyMedia will be unavailable during this time.

Lectopia is being phased out in 2011 due to the implementation of its replacement: MyMedia Service.
MyMedia Service has been approved to move into production for Semester 2 2011!
The new name for Lecture recording at UTAS has been decided. MyMedia Service will be the new name released for Semester 2 coinciding with the migration to the new lecture capture product EchoSystem.
