Teaching responsibilities: Juliet coordinates and teaches in the Bachelor of Nursing Undergraduate Programme and the Bachelor of Nursing Honours programme.
Juliet is leading a funded Cultural Competence programme across the Faculty of Health Science which embeds a Global Perspectives unit in to a first year unit of study across all schools. Juliet also delivers diversity and cultural communication workshops to international and CALD nursing, pharmacy, and medical students, Registered Nurses, international medical graduates, Facilitators, and Managers in Tasmania and NSW. Her programme been adopted by Sydney South West Area Health Service (SSWAHS) and her passion is to further expand a Cultural Competence program for all students and staff at UTAS with the intent that ‘diversity and cultural competence’ become the core business of the University.
