Ms Bromley is a Registered General Nurse with Postgraduate Certificates in Midwifery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Paediatric Nursing and Tropical Nursing. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, has completed a Master's in Education and is currently a Doctor of Education Candidate. From 1986-1989 Trish worked as Midwifery Nurse Tutor at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, then from 1989 – 2003 she worked in various Neonatal Units in London and Yorkshire. She also managed a cosmetic surgery clinic in Harley Street, London and was a Nurse Advisor for NHS Direct, UK. Ms Bromley has also worked in a NICU in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and volunteered for six months in a malnutrition centre in Kolkata, India. She currently teaches both in the Bachelor of Nursing and Postgraduate Nursing programs and is also a facilitator for the NeoResus, First Response and Advanced Resuscitation Programs.
Ms Bromley currently teaches Contemporary Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Practice (CNA521), Special Care of the Newborn Practice (CNA529), Contemporary Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Theory (CNA523), Special Care of the Newborn Theory (CNA530), Child and Adolescent Health and Cultural Aspects of Immigration Health (CNA522).
Ms Bromley lists her pedagogic interest as online learning and teaching and the evaluation of the application of theory into practice in online education.
