Jo is a Registered Nurse with a diverse professional background. Her experience in acute care includes ICU, Operating Theatre and Renal Nursing. She has been a Director of Nursing of an Aged Care service and a community continence advisor. She has been involved in health policy and health workforce planning and is a past Chairperson of the Nursing Board of Tasmania. She holds tertiary qualifications in Gerontics, Education, Management and Health Science.
