Research is vital to the continuing development of the disciplines of Nursing and Midwifery. The School of Nursing and Midwifery is building its already substantial  capacities in both funded research and higher degrees. A range of exciting opportunities exist for undertaking research degrees and for participation in collaborative research.

With a strong emphasis on translational research and evidence based practice, the School’s key programs of research are:
