Transition to Practice

The School of Nursing & Midwifery at the University of Tasmania is delighted to offer a new course designed specifically for Registered Nurses in their graduate transition years. The course, which is practice focussed, is offered in collaboration with our Participating Health Care Partners and incorporates their existing graduate transition programs.

The key priorities of the course are to:

• Focus on Patient care;
• Develop clinical excellence;
• Build graduate nurse support;
• Build on the strength of the existing graduate transition programs, and
• Recognise graduate registered nurses’ development through formal tertiary qualification
