The industrialised world is saturated with generic off the shelf public furniture. There is real opportunity in Tasmania to draw upon our rich heritage to produce more than the indifferent generic objects. I seek to design and build site specific utilitarian objects to complement our built environment.
Dinghy is at home bobbing around the Australian Maritime College in Newnham.
Hugh is a University of Tasmania post graduate student. He is currently studying a Masters of Architecture at Inveresk campus.
