This duo of 'geological personages' makes reference to Tasmania's wild and statuesque dolerite rock formations, as well as drawing a parallel to the university student of today, who carries the expectations of the community, the university and indeed our own high expectations to succeed and become pillars of our own society. The light framework offers the suggestion of great strength, form and potential.
Emma is a University of Tasmania undergraduate student. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Tasmanian College of the Arts, majoring in sculpture.
