Think space, think light, think our everyday environment. Being too habituated to what we see on a daily basis, we often fail to picture the beauty of our surroundings. reFraming the Light seeks to highlight what is already there, yet alter and enhance it to suggest new meanings to old places and to invite people to interpret and co-create the artwork and environment it is set in.
reFraming the Light seeks to bring more light to our campus, connect distant places within it, and to enhance the environment itself. But also, it seeks to connect art with the public and with everyday life, to engage university students and staff in rethinking the space we share and perhaps to light up a spark of creativity and playfulness that we sometimes forget is part of us.

Informed by my studies in sociology, psychology and new media, I attempt to represent and enhance our everyday environment and experience and modulate it in a contemplative, conceptual and unusual way in order to explore the possibilities that we are offered but rarely consider for their lack of common application, sense and practice.
