Getting to Campus

There are several options for travelling to and from campus:

Walk or Cycle

Bike racks are located on all campuses.

Bus

Metro Tas provides public transport in urban areas. See Metro for timetables, maps, pricing, and more information on bus services. There are also buses that run between Launceston-Hobart campuses and around the state generally, with discounted fares for full-time students. See Redline Coaches for more information.

Drive

The parking system at uni can be confusing so make sure you familiarise yourself with the different parking areas and try to arrive early as parking spots disappear quickly. Consider car pooling with your friends to save money and make finding a spot easier for everyone.

Take note of the reserved areas, permit zones, pay and display areas and the free parking areas. Make sure you are parked in the correct spot as fines do apply. Also watch out for parking restrictions if you are in streets surrounding any Uni campus.
