Everyone has the right to feel safe while they’re studying on campus. UTAS provides a 24 hour Security Service, 365 days of the year, staffed by trained Security personnel. Contact Security if you feel unsafe for any reason while on campus.
You can call Security directly using Help Point telephones, which are located around campus. You can also phone Security on:

For emergencies, telephone the Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance on 000. Please note that if using a University telephone '0' must be dialled prior to dialling 000 to obtain an outside line. If 000 is called, please contact Security as soon as possible so that they can arrange to meet and direct emergency services to the location.
