The PASS program at UTAS has been recognised both at the institutional and national level for its quality and wide‐ranging impact on student learning. In 2009, the program was awarded a Vice‐Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning at UTAS.
Since the National Centre for PASS in the Australasia region initiated the National Outstanding Leader Awards in 2008, eight UTAS Leaders have been recognised for their contributions to student learning, three in the New Leader Category, two in the Team Category and three in the Senior Leader Category. At the beginning of 2009, a UTAS Leader was invited as one of only two Leaders from Australia to attend a global forum for PASS/SI Leaders meeting at the International Centre for PASS/SI at the University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC).
