Honours gives you the chance to start developing your research skills and to advance your skills in a specialised area of pharmacy.
At the School of Pharmacy we offer honours programs at both undergraduate, graduate and professional level. That means you have the choice to either start honours in the third year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy or commence honours any time after you have graduated and commenced work as a pharmacist.
The undergraduate honours program allows you to build on the knowledge you have already gained from your Bachelor of Pharmacy by incorporating a research project into your final two years of study. This gives you a head start on your research career.
If you already have a degree in pharmacy and you have always aspired to complete a Research Higher Degree then you should consider starting a research project as part of the Honours Graduate Program. This will provide a strong foundation for your research career.
For the practising pharmacist who wants to undertake professional development, choose Professional Honours and maximise your career opportunities.
