The course is fully online and available part-time to enable your studies to fit in with your career and lifestyle. There are two streams available, to cater for pharmacists at different stages in their career.
For recent pharmacy graduates who are about to begin their intern year, currently completing their intern year or who have been registered for two years or less, read about Stream 2 for a special offer available in 2013.
Stream 1 is for registered pharmacists with at least 1 year of practice experience who are seeking to undertake further study for career progression.
Entry Requirements:
This course will equip you with advanced knowledge in pharmacotherapeutics to encourage evidence based application in both community and clinical practice.
Opportunities
Professional Honours (Stream 1) will enable you to develop professionally via coursework units that will use case-based learning of medication management and clinical pharmacy issues.
You will develop your research skills, introducing research methodology and literature evaluation within research units that will see you develop your own research project.
Professional Honours (Stream 1) is a pathway to a Master of Clinical Pharmacy. Completion of Professional Honours (Stream 1) gains you direct entry into the Master course and you will gain credit for all units completed, meaning that you only have to do the research project you have just developed.
