The School of Pharmacy has a diverse range of research specialisation that includes laboratory, clinical and community-based studies related to drug science and health care.

Our research students join the Tasmanian School of Pharmacy having specific objectivessuch as:

• to extend their knowledge in the pharmaceutical, pharmacological or related sciences,
  
• to improve health care outcomes, particularly through promoting the quality use of medicines, or
• to promote advances in the practice of pharmacy

Please note that contact must be made with a supervisor in a chosen research area before you can apply to the School of Pharmacy. Please refer to the profiles of our research staff to identify a potential supervisor. Alternatively you may want to go through the current or future lab-based research projects to identify the ones that fit match with your interests.
