Peter graduated from the School of Pharmacy, University of Tasmania with First Class honours in 1993. Since then he has worked in both hospital and community pharmacy both in England and Australia.
He has been worked at the pharmacy school since 2005, initially starting work as a research pharmacist for the UMORE group. Since then he has completed a Graduate Diploma of Computing. He has been responsible for the successful development and implementation of a number of IT projects in the pharmacy department.
He is currently a tutor in the third and fourth year pharmacy teaching, provides IT support for projects and higher degrees students, and provides staff support for on-line learning.
