Daniel graduated with Honours from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania in 2008. He enjoyed the experience he gained in hospital pharmacy and consequently continued on to complete the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia’s course Clinical Skills for Cancer Pharmacy Practitioners in 2010. Daniel maintained a strong passion for research during this time and as a result, he returned to UTAS to undertake postgraduate study in 2011. He hopes that his current research which is based in Tasmania will evolve into a nation-wide project. He believes the investigation into Home Medicine Reviews which he is undertaking as part of his PhD has the potential to develop into a complete service in parts of the world that do not yet have an outpatient based pharmaceutical review service.
His future ambition is to teach undergrad students while maintaining a central role in this research.
