Krutika graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Sathyabama University, India in 2009 towards the end of which she interned at Central Leather Research Laboratory, India and worked on creating a bi-layer controlled drug delivery system, by converting raw collagen to pure collagen, to study the drug release kinetics in wound healing.
She completed her Masters (Hons) in Biotechnology from Deakin University, Geelong, Victoria in 2011 after which she interned at Nucleus Network, a Clinical Research Organization in Melbourne, Australia. Her work was based on studying the compounds that the company tested in Phase I clinical trials and analysing their progress into the market.
Krutika moved to Hobart in March of 2012 and joined UTAS to become a full-time PhD candidate at the School of Pharmacy.
Her future plans are to work for a Pharmaceutical company, in the R & D department and work towards pursuing a Postdoctoral research in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
