Dr Stuart Ferguson from the School of Pharmacy was awarded the Cancer Council Tasmania Research Fellow valued at $184,930 over two years.
This will go towards Dr Ferguson’s research into investigating support interventions to improve the quit rates of smokers. This prestigious scholarship was awarded to Dr Ferguson by His Excellency, The Honorable Mr Perter Underwood AC at the Cancer Council Tasmania Research Awards Ceremony on the 10th May.
