The fruits of their labour continue to thrive, as a second initiative of the Tasmanian Clinical Partnership Placement (TCPP) Project has resulted in more success for Tassie preceptors!
The TCPP Project in partnership with the School of Pharmacy have funded places for ten interested preceptors to take part in The Australian Clinical Educator Preparation Program. The program offers guidance to practitioners acting as preceptors for health science undergraduates via an online course. Encompassing 20 hours of online training, it is available for preceptors, or pharmacists interested in becoming preceptors to independently sign up and get access to Clinical Educator-specific training.
The School of Pharmacy have had five flourishing candidates complete the course to date. We would like to offer our congratulations to Hilary Edwards, Helen Kruup, Marjorie Cook, Megan Richardson and Lisa Bourke for their successful completion of the program.
There are three places still available through the TCPP Project. If you are interested in completing the Australian Clinical Educator Preparation Program, submit an expression of interest by email to Catherine Spiller at catherine.spiller@utas.edu.au
