UMORE was established in 2002 as the School’s applied clinical pharmacy research arm. As well as highly skilled research pharmacists, our staff include IT specialists and psychologists, providing a strong and versatile research and development team.
We are internationally recognised as a leader in collaborative research and education, and our areas of expertise are health informatics, anticoagulants, medication reviews, chronic disease management and quality use of medicines.
We collaborate with professional organisations and agencies, other universities, health professionals, health and information system specialists and the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and IT industries.
The primary focus of our research is to contribute to improved patient health outcomes within the community.
