Honours - thesis

Thesis/Dissertation

Each student will write a thesis of no more than 16,000 words under the supervision of an academic staff member. It is expected that the thesis will attempt to make some original contribution to the topic it examines. This contribution does not necessarily need to be a new philosophical position or the like – it might consist in a survey of some area that organises and clarifies the area in question. The best honours theses will demonstrate that their author is capable of further research at the postgraduate (PhD or Masters) level.
